Our History & Growth
Toni Calderone opens Tutoni's Restaurant, a farm-to-table Italian fine dining restaurant in York PA.
Toni identifies a need: all natural pasta that cooks in a fraction of the time to cut down on labor an prep work in her kitchen.
The pasta gains a local following at the flagship restaurant.
Toni & the team start offering their signature pasta outside of the restaurant, selling it at the local farmer's market.
The team develops a way to serve the same pasta that guests loved at the flagship restaurant but in a fast casual format. They opened a stand at an artisan vendor market in a historic warehouse in Lititz, PA.
The pandemic hits and the team takes it to the streets selling pasta and sauce by driving through neighborhoods like an ice cream truck.
The need for takeout and fast food skyrocketed during the pandemic and Toni & the team pivoted and answered with "Presto Fast Italian" in a location with a drive thru window.
The first shopping center store model opened in Shrewsbury, PA.
A South York, PA location with a single window drive thru opened and the team updated the brand/interior design.
We continued to perfect our franchise model. We started construction on our newest location in Lancaster, PA (Manheim).
Rebranded from Presto Fast Italian to PastaNito to position to enter the world of franchising.
Franchise opportunities became available in Pennsylvania and Florida.
